my apartment the munny factory
my concept for senior show is "breaking the mold" and the idea behind it is to use mini munnies to represent our graduating design class. so to mock up the poster i had to paint nine of these stinkin things to look like people from my class. fingers crossed my idea gets picked! back to painting the last two. tata for now

it's girl scout cookie season!
i've been sick with a stomach bug for the past few days, so i asked my husband to get me some jamba juice. he brought home what looked like a cup o' puke, but was the most delicious thing ever. it's one of their new smoothies with granola and bananas. i wasn't expecting for the the granola to be blended into the drink, but it was surprisingly good. go check out the jamba juice site. it is way cool, and you get to draw with chalk :D
my hubby also brought me home some samoas (the coconut, chocolate, caramel ones)...he knows my addictions all too well

candied citrus peels
me and my design buddy elisa are upscaling our asado's menu into a fancy schmancy place instead of the dirty hole in the wall that it really is.
anyways... i took the privilege of changing menu items and one of the things i came up with was a piece of key lime cheesecake garnished with whipped cream and candied citrus peels... yum! i really want some of that now. i don't know how to make key lime cheesecake, but here is a recipe for candied citrus peels

best blueberry muffins
another great saturday or sunday morning breakfast
blueberry muffins via allrecipes
ingredients:
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1 c. fresh blueberries
crumb topping:
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. butter in thin slices (1/2 stick)
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1. Mix dry and wet ingredients for muffin batter. I had to add an extra splash of milk to make it more like a batter. then fold in blueberries.
2. Drop into greased muffin tin
3. Mix crumb topping together with a fork, or use your hands as a faster method. Sprinkle generous amounts of topping over muffin batter.
4. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes
